When we start word, it automatically creates a new document. We can straight away type the text. After typing the text, We have to save it and while saving, the word will ask for file name. At that time we can assign any file name to the document and can be saved in any folder. Points to be remembered while typing text on the word document.
- While typing text in a paragraph, when we reach the end of the line, do not press enter key as we do it on the manual type writer, just continue typing and word automatically moves the last word to the next line, if it goes past the next line. This facility is called as word wrap feature.
- If we want to center text in a line, do not use tab key or the space bar for doing that, use cent re a line command on the page. Similarly left align and right align commands can be used to align the sentence or a paragraph.
- To create multi column table, we can use tabs or table facility.
- We can use new page key instead of enter key to open a new page.
